Target Link

Have you heard about this new tool in LD3 called Target Link? Target Link comes from the idea from one of our application engineers, Joel Hansen. Target link is a semi automatic registration system that virtually removes the painful process of registering multiple scans. To see it in action, just watch this short video clip.

Press Release: InteliSum Brazil Opens Doors to Massive Oil & Gas Industries

SALT LAKE CITY - InteliSum Inc. opens the doors to InteliSum Brazil to better provide for the needs of the South American markets. InteliSum Brazil is a service/software company that will primarily assist the oil and gas industries.

The company uses a technology called “Life Dimensional 3D” (LD3) to capture “as-is” models of existing oil and gas platforms and refineries. LD3 fuses 3D LiDAR information, GCS location, and digital imagery into an instant 3D model at capture. The accompanying software suite, LD3 Studio, also contains piping modeling tools.

“The ability to model against the real world environment is the key.” Frank Algarin, VP Sales InteliSum, explains. “This ease of modeling combined with ability to visually validate models against the real world is not available anywhere else.”

InteliSum Brazil already has several contracts and projects that are underway. The company recently placed over fifty seats of LD3 Studio inside PetroBras, which is Brazil’s largest oil producer.

InteliSum Brazil is also heavily involved in the updates being done to Landulpho Alves de Mataripe Refinery (RLAM), Brazil’s largest oil platform. There are also several other projects currently in the works.

Marcos Migliorelli, who most recently owned Resolution Engineering, will lead InteliSum Brazil under the direction of InteliSum’s Director of Oil & Gas, David Demorest. “Marcos is a capable leader who will be a key in bringing our solutions to the Brazilian market.” said Demorest.
