LD3: The Instant 3D Model

Most developers and customers agree that 3D models provide tremendous advantage to Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) projects. But creating these models is difficult and time consuming. InteliSum is Off to Texas

InteliSum salesperson, Dave Demorest and VP of Operations Ed Allred are going to be attending the Clean Gulf (www.cleangulf.org) Conference in San Antonio, Texas next week. The conference is dedicated to disasters and the maintenence associated with Oil Drilling Platforms. We not only will be attending, but we will have a booth there. Z+F Scanner Meets the InteliCamera

It is possible for the InteliCamera to fit retroactively to existing scanners. In this case the InteliCamera is blended with the Z+F 5006 scanner. It has been used for several projects lately, including a large one involving Brazilian oil drilling platforms.


It was also to capture scenes of a rail bridge in Salt Lake City. The Intelligent Model was used for a demonstration by Northern Engineering for the recent rail conference.

The technology behind the InteliCamera is that in addition to the LiDAR information that a standard LiDAR scanner captures, the InteliCamera captures GPS/GCS position AND image information as well. What sets the technology apart is that it fuses these three elements at capture.
